Lark in Sky that casts on us
spins to the world yarns thus
Songs it sings; music to some
Howling hoarse, dire outcome!
Its freedom feared anathema
Its Rants mostly a miasma
Chased at times by mean sling
Or a chatter of high-tech string
On a way some Innocent blood
Enviably crushed a tender bud
Black the white and the grey
Truth at times a fallen prey
Whittled rays shatter on a prism
Mix an match to bridge a schism
On the heights with a techno leap
A Twerp! A twitter from the sweep
Eagle vulture and the crow
All roles the lark has in stow
In a shady spot a juicy grub
Close an eye to the lion’s cub
Tiger’s nod an a meaty broad
Lowly mongoose tastes the rod
Naked passion; truth expressed
Catch a tear of those distressed
through the forest of bristling reeds
in murky waters the piranha feeds
Lurking lark is the keenest eye
but wings an banks on the sly
Shiny coats of the prowling larks
Gleam an glisten like the shark’s
