In the loneliness solitude of time
just think of me, as a friend of thine
Poetry
when in loneliness think of me
In the loneliness
solitude of time
just think of me
a friend of thine
upon my shoulders
lay your head and weep
if you wish to instead
and
when your tears flow dry
you will then know
how loneliness too does fly
and
a smile shall come upon your face
as when a lonesome stranger
like me the face you try to trace
in the mirrors of time
and
the shadows of life
whenever you are ever in strife
think about me and my lonely life
I rest upon shoulders still alive
none wants to carry me you bet
there where the end has yet
to me finally lay to rest
Of life
that’s all about life I know
I have studied in confidence
over 20000 folks
A certain friend didn’t take my advice
and went out in the arms of a stray Internet lover
and I don’t know whether
she has lost much yet
she lost her hubby
she lost her two kids to him
she lost her car
she lost a shared laptop
she lost an orchard
and
I now think
there is only one thing left to lose
is her already lost sanity
I’m a friend of the down trodden
but sad no one does listen
till such time
time treads and crushes them
albeit I continue
to perform my solitary advisory duty
the grass is greener
on the far side of the hill
