Where the hard road ended,
we walked up the mountain,
my true love and me,
where living water flowed so free,
among the living and fallen trees,
out where the wild ferns were growing
with the mountain laurel so far and wide,
growing and glowing on the mountain sides
The sun’s rays were descending its love from above,
as the waterfalls were playing a peaceful beat on our ear drums,
with their flowing clean and clear sheets, a melody of peace
We found no hard road around all the mountain’s curves and bends,
but we did find the mountain’s unwrapped good tidings,
from beginning until the end with awes and amens.
