The mint patch is returning to seed,
as the tide is turning making golden leaves,
on the branches of the maple trees
the flower patch is on the last summer stage,
as mother nature is highly lifting her last beautiful bouquets
before she turns her full attention to the Autumn stage
painting and dressing up all those trees with colorful leaves,
My summer ink in my pen is starting to run down,
but the butterflies’ wings on the flowers are keeping it around,
as the Autumn tide starts to fill it back up again inside with colorful dyes,
as summer waves its final goodbyes and I begin to roll with the Autumn tide
