The panoramic sweep of my emotional landscape,
Mountains, valleys, forests and seascapes
Always in the background of my volcanic past,
My journey of coastal scenes and inland views
Made me survive even though I was always last
In trying to live, to feel and to heal,
I always had felt I had the least appeal
With my battered and bruised heart,
I was disabled emotionally, my weakest part
To withstand the force of the past,
You, my love see me only with loving eyes,
That soothe my weariness and the destructive lies,
That forced me into a maze with no way out,
All I could do was shout
For peace, love and acceptance
Then my love you gave me romance,
No more lonely dance,
Just a complete beauty when last became first
You gave me romance and all you wanted was a chance
I find in your eyes a new me,
A beginning to love and live,
To give
And to forgive
Is a reason to start to live.
