She wander’s far through the fields of golden corn,
That sways in an easterly breeze,
Her fragile, soul begins to rise out of her inner turmoil,
Like the spring after an Artic freeze.
This feast of beauty, enhances her senses to hover,
In a timeless sensation, that makes her anger cease,
Under wide, sweeping and perfect blue skies.
As she hold’s her lover’s lies,
The sun’s rays burns them in a furnace,
They wither and then die’s.
Blue and gold, settling into her view,
Like her scarred soul, entering an open door,
Into something bright and new,
Love is lost, gone crawling on it’s knees,
Like the agony of the stings of a swarm of bee’s,
Leaving her with the high price, of her lover’s fee’s,
Like a part of her is adrift in a dense, unforgiving fog,
She can’t grasp hope, her memories are dreams, she can still see.
Blue and gold, vivid, tantalizing that lift’s her away,
To places and faces, that wraps their warmth around her emotions,
Captivating blue and gold,
Brings colour into her fold,
Living, breathing, her spirit energised,
She look’s into the jaws of reality with a look so bold,
The golden corn glistens and sways together so smooth,
Blue skies dazzle with the promise,
Of her bright new beginnng that soothes
Her torn shreds of her heart,
She becomes whole again with the prospect,
Of a fresh start!
