It is very very hard
To look backward
And analyze
When people sympathies
It is tearful
But not painful
Each action is brought before
So we cry and weep becoming sore
Each employee shook hand
And cried as trustworthy friend
I had stayed with them little longer
The bond had become stronger
It is like one family
When tenure is spent happily
That too when you are in public and dealing
Sometimes people needed advice and healing
I was like fatherly figure
They took me for sure
“Everything will be set right”
They had firm belief that I would certainly fight
Male and female held same respect
Otherwise union functionaries are not liked for their acts
They are some sort of intermediaries
Their role too demand so much and varies
When time came for my last d-day
I too was deeply moved on that day
Last moment in office meant something unbearable
What would happen if I land in trouble?
From active part to become inactive
To say at home or visit the relatives
All were the options and very much available
I sensed isolation and thought of coming struggle
