After The Gentle Of The Rain –

The echo of calming rainfall,
off the veins of opened leaves,
like sprinkles falling off snow-caps
natures prowess ne’re be measured-
by any less than human sense-
of sight, sound, and touch…
and the scent that gathers within-

the air that escorts the rain,
a dampness, one almost can taste;
the breeze that flutters your lobes,
almost as gentle as the mist
suddenly appearing like stardust,
upon green blades… against the Sun;
Blink and you’ll miss the Rainbow.
