Parallel…’til fracture breaks its course,
Metaphors moist… ’til metonyms dry,
Juxtapositioned, ’til dark ranks file,
Naked souls treading black, icy seas.
Peace so ruled ’til Darkness found Man.
Man will war to th’ pleasure of Hades
‘Til numbers in Six are beslain by Seven,
‘Till Death breathes Life by Seals of Gold.
No mortal dispensation be afforded here
For pretext, that be of eschewous artifice-
To the Word, and Law of Michaels’ King-
De verbis sacrae legis………..Domini Dei.
‘Til then we’ll capitulate to th’ Darkness,
Whore our souls to the ‘Dark Ones’ bliss,
Prick th’ flesh of our self-inflicted crosses.
Wait for hell’s ocean to part and dissipate,
Pray rendered mercy come along with Death.
