Yesterday night,
I dreamt of Mother Earth.
She looked so incredibly vast,
So radiant, wearing a colourful attire,
Shinning with lustrous jewellery.
In front of Mother Earth,
I looked like a tiny mustard seed,
So small,
So helpless,
So bewildered!
I could not open my eyes fully,
She was too bright for my naked eyes.
Yet, I managed to mutter,
In a voice hardly audible,
“Happy Birthday, Mother Earth”!
Mother Earth smiled and
Nodded with a benign expression!
She looked at me with such kind,
Compassionate expression that
I could have melted like an ice cream!
I managed to ask her:
” Have you any message for us, Mother Earth? “
In soft, mellifluous voice,
As if she is singing a song,
She said: “Yes, Of course”!
All of you are my children, I love you all!
All of you will come back into my arms.
I do not want to know which country you belong to
Or which religion you practise;
I also don’t need to know whether you are black or white!
All of you are equal to me!
All you need to do is
‘Let me be’
As I,
‘Let you be’!
