Wonderful morning it has been
Watching a Ra-re, unusual bird!
Whimsical warbler she is not – then,
Wonder who could she be?
She caught my attention with her sprightly dance,
Spreading her wings with poise and grace,
Super-duper dance with Ta -Ta beats,
Skipping and jumping with joyous rhythm!
The birdie, suddenly lowered her wings,
Hopped around in a tip toed frenzy,
Then, spotting a bristled grass warbler,
Hurriedly, madly chased her around!
The grass warbler quite intimidated by
The strange behaviour of this unusual bird,
Raised her wings in fright and flew away in a ziffy
Rising high up, only to land on a tall branch of a tree!
The Ra-re bird, now looked like a normal bird,
Almost the shape of a crow or a cuckoo,
The black body painted with orange wings,
Attractively designed forehead with blue patches!
The Ra-re bird had a blue bib!
Never seen a bird with a sky blue bib,
Struck with wonder, I kept pondering and
Never stopped wondering about this Ra-re birdie!
Once more she spread her wings like a fan,
One large black bristled umbrella,
Almost like a mongoose with two shiny iris,
A picture of an awesome creation!
She did not sing like a singing bush Lark,
She did not appear like a yellow browed Bulbul
She was simply bold and bewitching,
Sensational bird! Wonder! Who this Ra-re bird is?
