Sonnet: Lucky, Am I To Be A Human- Being Born!

By Jove, what wonder and what miracle!
One sperm from a thousand millions alone,
Fused one ovum but without debacle;
To form me-everything, my flesh, blood, bone!

And what a thing, incredible, I say!
That I am born a human Being, full;
With body, mined and heart and soul; God’s way;
In His image and not a burly Bull!

I thank my Lord, my God, for my good birth;
I thank Him for this green planet called Earth;
I thank Him for making Heavenly mirth;
God showed His love supreme for man sans dearth.

So, let me live my days as per His code;
And one day be with Him in His Abode.
