there’s my brother
(with whom I shared my house) ,
who sees the good
and doesn’t watch the news;
there’s I,
who think or thinks this is not such a genius of a language,
who watch or watches it,
and who have or has come to see
there’s at least a little good in all;
and there’s the chaff, left over after harvest,
whose burning shall soon be banned.
There’s good in that plan;
and in ripping out our coal,
and selling it on the cheap,
to get as much as we can,
before it too faces a ban.
