Known by the name worlds of evil,
Wrapped up in blinding darkness, they
To such woeful worlds of devil,
‘Pon death would wind their way—
Those that the self their own would slay.

The transliteration of the first verse from Isha Upanishad is given as under:
asuryā nāma te lokāandhena tamasā āvŗtāh |
tān te pretya abhi-gachċhanti ye ke cha ātma-hanah janāh ||
asuryāh: of demons and devils/evil people; nāma: known as, of the name; te lokāh: those worlds (wombs of lowly species, fall from evolution): andhena: by/with (relentless)blinding; tamasā-āvŗtāh: enveloped by darkness, elusion, ignorance; tān: to them (to such places): te: those (that kill their conscience/atman): pretya: after departing, after giving up this body, post death; abhi-gachċhanti: (they)go/fall/get trapped into (due to karmas):
ye ke cha: whoso may they be; ātma-hanah: (those)that kill the self/atman; suppress inner voice; janāh: people, men.
