A strange soul
Comes at dawn
To claim his spot
On my lawn.
He lays and sleeps—
Such little stray.
Then at daylight,
Hops away.
But first he eats
His breakfast there,
Where, chewing grass,
He sumptuously fair.
Then goes along
His merry way,
But then returns
Come end of day.
