Remembrance of their Death
The Pall of Mourning shrouds this day
Brave fallen displayed half-staff on mast
Halyard’s swiftly raise the sail at noon
Full-Staff survivors know its weight
In Flanders Field the poppies still blow
Saluting floral allegiance of country
The red herbaceous flower all-too-soon dies
Life and chance sacrificed in battle
Freedoms potluck tastes good to the hungry
God bless to all who have kept America free and safe.
My Personal Observation: Editorial
I pray we crave for our freedom still, as apathy
now allows world-wide tyrannical dictators
to take comfort in the people’s house with
our newly elected president.
Complacency will bring about democracies demise.
God damn all who wish to bring harm unto the masses
of our free and democratic society. And also to those who
wish to vanquish the freedom of speech by attempting
to desecrate the free press and media. Demonizing
these institutions can be directly attributed to the start of
totalitarianism, where the people are subservient to the
government. And imprisonment and death is the penalty
to those who speak poorly of it and try to up-rise against it.
The First Amendment – U.S. Constitution
Religion and Expression
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
