Try, as you might
To brush me from sight
The Hunter’s moon
Returning, tonight
Sheds shine to my hair
Your disconcerting aire
A thin disguise
No surprise
And where you sleep now
Pretending, somehow…
We were never to be
A shared fantasy
While looking for more
I was left by the shore
As you twisted and turned
Stating lessons were learned
But what keeps you tied
To the dark of my eyes
When you say it is wrong
We do not belong
To the taste of a kiss
To the moments we miss
To the love that was right
Try, as you might
Try As You Might
