The dream of who I am
Turns to dust
And all my great ambitions
Meaningless
Old age is death in stages
I am not sure which stage I am in
But I am certainly not the young hero of my own story anymore
What it is about now
Is not becoming a burden to others
But how can I possibly guarantee that?
Walk on old man
Exercise for health
Keep your mind active
Pretend you will do in the last hour
What you have not been able to do for years
Go on you old fool
Pray and pray
And believe God will get you out of this
Write this now
As if it will help you somehow
Because something must.
