Everyone lives in this beautiful, dirty world alone,
There are no right or wrongs, left or rights,
And to some the world is stone,
Maybe for those it is,
But for others the world is beautiful,
Well, maybe not always beautiful,
But interesting with its aesthetics,
For beauty dominates the ugly,
And the ugly rears its head at the beautiful.
Some walk confused,
Not knowing their place in this life,
And many feel like a waste of space,
But they’re not, but some are dirty,
And not always because of no shower,
Everyone has soiled hands,
There is no right or wrong,
This beautiful, dirty world written in songs.
The sun tries to light the dirty city streets,
With little success, some dressed in rags,
Warming hands over a can of fire,
While others waltz past,
Like the viewer of a film,
But we are all part of this world,
We are all beautiful,
We are all dirty,
We are all wrong to get back at those,
And we are right to have pride at what we are.
