Justice Is Forgotten

Life can be so devilish when
justice is forgotten!
Graciousness has been condemned
and prestige is deformed and rotten.
You see the evil news
yet you seem to lazily choose
to sit and smirk strangely amused.
Tantalized by your irresponsibility
submerged in what you’ve gotten.
Are you still a citizen
with your ears stuffed with cotton?
Was it a distortion of a truth?
Returning the question was a sly sleuth.
The wailing souls will be crying out
raging with exasperation no doubt.
Tread your ground with trepid toes
with a cold wind brisk and loud
stirring the fallen leaves here and about.
Soon the conscious will expose
the darker parts of your hidden souls.
Unfolding the plans while we subdue
the slovenly nature of a chosen few.
Elevating the level of profanity
with Lucifer we take a vow
to initiate the loss of sanity.
Juggling with dismay and malice
upsetting the teetering balance.
On the brutal battlefield
lay the younger between the boughs
and olive branches modestly healed.
Standing amongst the calamity
with a tinged reality revealed.
Begging the commonplace populous
to raise their tattered fists angrily
to protest the usage of the ominous.
Shaking with fear as all’s concealed
Tearing the curtain and shredding it down
to unravel the secrets of their audacity.
Still the munchkins will trust to seal
a letter of resentment and appeal.
We’ve been captured in a prison
Nonetheless our faith has risen
I have witnessed many goodly men
who claim justice is forgotten.
Looking at the ruins lost and forsaken
All our resources have been taken
With the dust of an arid plain
we wish for Jesus to explain
the love of our fellow humanity
and curse injustice as an ideal.
Trodden under the hoofs of swine
condemned by a false persuasion.
Drinking a dry Andalusian wine
we pensively review this ordeal.
Yet when we bound together in union
there will come no grotesque confusion.
We owe our grandchildren the chance
to create an atmosphere of romance.
Giving with a gentle breath to bless
the entire world with gentleness.
Bringing credence to mankind
with a egoless attitude reaching solutions.
We can end this lust and greed
with a collective of thoughts combined.
Phenomenal events will soon succeed
Never accepting the lethargic masses
becoming a tin soldier out of need.
Sending out an aura the Lord to please
until this apathy disappears and passes.
Taking it upon ourselves to shine
our gleaming torch of the divine.
Radiating a gleaming trust of fusion
to break common ground to appease
each being with a will to surpass
the unimportance of retribution.
Reconciliation is the simple key
of existing in perfect harmony.
