The solitary pigeon grey upon the roof,
Transfixed he stands, and looks ahead
In utmost tranquillity; then, vigilantly
Moves his head around, and up, and down,
As if it were a flexible arc-curved spring:
Scanning the panoramic vision high!
Even though, he may not record this moment
As I do, inspired by his solitary guise,
Yet, we two shared few moments of existence:
Poof! …he just flew! …and in delight I smile:
Writing for him this poem with one rhyme!
