Yes I loved you without knowing you or so I thought,
I loved you because I saw in you what I was taught,

Many times I tried to hide my feelings then only to show,
Displeasure through deceptions I felt you should know,
Marriage cannot last when only one side wants to grow.
How come big decisions arrive with so little time to choose?
I am tired of rock-n-roll but not looking forward to the blues,
All my life I’ve begged Santa for the same gift under the tree,
Gracious peace with happiness for my faithful lover and me.
Looking back in my life, reflecting on the heartache I’ve seen,
I profusely refuse to let another nightmare become my dream,
I’ll put it in a coffin and cremate it before I live again in any fear,
Just cannot allow happiness to be replaced by sadness & tears.
Wow! “For God so loved the world He sent His only begotten Son, ”
Book of John 3: 16, is an example of love shared not only for one,
Why should anyone or I settle for kindness beneath the very best?
With my heart beating in anticipation pounding against my chest.
I’m solely designed for compassion not for mistreatment and hurt,
This world is so much bigger than us, should I expand my search?
In times of tenderness I need a doctor of compassion, not a nurse,
A physician to put their needs aside, occasionally putting mine first.
Call me silly, call me a hopeless romantic, call me crazy in love,
Call me a dreamer without a dream hey call me all of the above,
And while you’re at it better call Elvis to sing, “Love Me Tender, ”
Otherwise, I will never be able to “Love You Beyond November.’
