Use the word Honey and most people think of a bee,
When I hear that sound it’s how sweet you are to me,
So much closer to the dream than a real live memory,
In the vision I see myself chasing a bear up the tree.
I’ll make sure that your honey springs live from my lips,
Bitterness shall not remain in the silence with fingertips,
You have been using both aromatic and striking words,
Using various translations of dictionary nouns & verbs..
Greatly how I desire that all my words be clearly heard,
Shared thoughts of kindness not wasted but preferred,
Why does my generation dig in want of their treasure?
As nothing under comes close to honeycomb pleasure.
In these things that are wise and through the ways life,
There’s a strange force that hypnotizes us by sacrifice,
Tell me, is there a chain that binds, holding them back?
I’d go alone if I didn’t need another to pick up the slack.
Sometimes I’ll use the raw version for strengthening tea,
Or the purified clover grade rubbed on my swollen knee,
I might mix it with cinnamon where it is smooth to taste,
Then lick the spoon or knife I absolutely refuse to waste.
Under the darkest shade of the oak tree there’s the hive,
And only African Honey Bees make us fear for our lives,
No human will ever be strong enough to lead me astray,
Weakness can never infiltrate me unless I say it is okay.
A story old as Moses and still new as the dawn of today,
Hornets shall attack, bees might die, yet honey will stay,
Steady is the confidence I have in the sweetness of dew,
Because from the well of protection it flows through you.
Nectar of the flower is nature’s harvested perfect sweet,
The kingdoms naturally aspirated strength building treat,
A mountain of energy releasing from the jaws of defeat,
Poured in tea, spread over bagels, as a sauce for meat.
Are some wise men meant to be forsaken at the caves?
How come many give up their tomorrows, for our today?
Is it possible? Not plausible? Are they seeking the bee?
Recognize, I’ll fight to the finish before sharing, “Honey! ”
