And like a plant
She spouted from the palm of my hand.
Continuing to grow.
Pleasant.
We partook in the encouragement of one another.
She becoming my breath of fresh air.
Nestled in the palm of my hand.
I’d protect her from the harsh element that means her
harm.
Providing warmth.
A place that she can go and come as she pleases.
She’d blossom in a moment.
Her smile a bouquet of single stem.
My hand,
A place she can wander and be free.
Tilting her head over the side.
Full of curiosity.
The fragrance of home always in reach.
Always celebrated.
Her hair a hive of sorts.
She swirls and twirls.
Blossoming wide in intelligence.
Resilient in how she loves
