I was once a believer,
Despite today I choose not to believe,
I was once among them,
Despite deep inside I hold a grieve.
I preferred to shut up,
Lather than to blurt out,
Am afraid to be ambushed,
Beyond the shadow of my doubts.
After all those years of ruling,
Burying our needs for their benefits,
Expanding their bellies like garbage sacks,
Now they stand before us for the next shot.
They blinded our eyes with false promises,
Convincing the crowd to accept every agenda,
Just try for yourself by giving them a chance,
And witness their hidden true dedications.
Our life’s situations as believers,
Are worst that that of yesterday’s.
Finalists roaming around in streets jobless,
While parents blame for fees they invested.
How long will the poor pay high taxes?
We work hard day and night restless,
To raise our families with that little,
Yet we are obligated to give it to them.
Our children study much,
At the end few manage to pass,
If you try to complain to them,
They say it’s a pyramid educational system.
Let them deduct my monthly salaries,
With an excuse of aging refunds,
I will deduct my vote,
During their campaigns.
