Tied up in the harbour
Was an rickety wooden boat
Trying to weather many storms
More worn and battered it became
For years it stayed attached to a post
Taking hits from rough shore waves
Until one day the post cracked
The little old boat was finally free
Into the open sea it drifted
Surrounded by calm and peace
