The desert teaches, and it does not lie,
With lizards and tortoises and all the cacti,
With lush oases and swirling sand storms,
The deserts true beauty, comes in many forms.
The beauty of the desert is in the eye of the beholder,
Be it a dune, a canyon or a volcanic red boulder.
With the coyote howl and the dance of a snake,
The desert is a masterpiece, make no mistake.
Exploring the desert is like studing art,
When you see it’s true beauty, it stays in your heart.
You grow to appreciate all that it’s worth,
For some it is Heaven, right here on this Earth.
