Why so many revolts?
Because of too many naughty assaults
Too many vile and abominable insults
Too much discrimination, anger, and nepotism
Too many crimes, hypocrites, and too much racism
The system has been a horror
And very unfair, from day one
Our ancestors have seen live terror
From the coast, and on the plantation.
You’re still wondering?
Why so many revolts?
We’ve lived through countless deadly assaults
And all sorts of nasty and nefarious insults
You’re still guessing?
The cruelties are real
The sufferings are real
After so many years, we still feel
The sharp bloody bites of slavery
On us, on our entire body
The shame is real and live
We still experience it from five to five
From seven to seven
Earth is hell, not Heaven.
The system killed abruptly Brother Martin
The system upset sister Maya and all of us
The system slowly and surreptitiously destroyed
Nelson Mandela and other leaders. The pink Satan
Is spreading rumors and fake news. We’re revolting
Stop wondering, and stop guessing.
