In a mystical experience,
the self is captured in a sense
of awe and rapture
rather than in a sense
of intimate affection.
The self must slowly pass
beyond the stage of
metaphysical rapture
or fluid splendour,
and crystalize into
a definite concept,
a definite and personal
relation set up between
the self and the Absolute life.
