Where is the
forever of your love?
Why aren’t your arms
wrapped around me now,
holding me in warm embrace?
I hear the tick tock of the clock,
the drip of the faucet, again…
the lights are flickering every time
the upstair’s neighbors flush.
I am waiting for you still, your
promises really did mean something,
didn’t they?
