Last night she came to the grove of my heart.
Her hair was dark and her face so charming.
She was sixteen and joys would fill her earth.
In a lovely voice Madhu was Speaking.
She was a sign of perfect loveliness.
She wore a nose ring and few ornaments.
The moon would shine her heart; it was cloudless.
She looked so lovely in her pink garments.
She smiled and said, ‘I do love you badly;
I could ne’er say the words of love for thee.
I must express my love passionately.
I will spend my life with you if you agree.’
‘Does love follow any order or law? ‘
-The girl, Madhu asked me in the morn glow.
