From the faint glows just before dawn
Where the coolness of the night softly
Empties into the morning dew quenching
The thirst of daffodils as they slowly
Lift their heads to greet the new sun,
To the twilight of evening where nature
Takes its rest, there is complete tranquillity.
Nature, harmoniously clothed in its rightful
Mind, pure as a mountain stream.
Set against this serenity is the nature of Man.
Dressed in the ermine and silk of greed and avarice.
Seemingly at odds, and with the unfathomable
Quest to destroy either his natural surroundings,
Or his fellow man. Where hatred becomes an
All-consuming cancer of evil intent and malevolent
Warped desires. Until evil is renounced man cannot
Be truly human until he walks and acts in the name
Of humanity, for the good of all sentient beings.
