Fifty years have passed
Since my graduation from Osakis High
Class of Sixty-Five
I return home again
To walk down memory lane
Class of Sixty-Five
Osakis, my beloved hometown
It has changed so
Mormon missionaires walking down the street
Side by side, greeting everyone they meet
Amish, in horse drawn carriages soon appear
Women and young girls dressed in black
Gillis Drug, now long gone
Augie and Pat, town barbers are no more
Tip Top Dairy Bar, still going strong
Since nineteen fifty-five
Many of my classmates are gone
But, we who remain gather with wine and song
Class of Sixty-Five
