Your head is full of worry and overcome with pain and grief,
but please don’t give up now, please hold on to that belief.
I look on, so helpless, and nearly as defenceless as you.
I was supposed to be the one who helped you get through.
Instead, I converted to the Dark Side, and plunged the knife right in.
Now, in God’s own daylight, I can see I committed a mortal sin.
I let down my friend. Callously turned my back.
And when they turned theirs also, I spun round and launched my attack.
I look on, as you cry and slowly fall apart.
Your tears stem for a moment, as you wrench my dagger from your heart.
I look on, wanting to help but not knowing what I can do.
I look on, knowing I started this, and I need to end it too
It was a stupid issue, and I know shouldn’t have forced it,
but now I look on, knowing full well that I caused this.
