I yearn for yesterdays, when in my youth love was in
the setting of the sun, or the twinkle of a star. Love was
a smile, or a flower or a song. Love was a snowflake as it
touched my skin and in kisses…ahhhhh yes those long
magical…tender kisses.
It seems that in my youth I was enveloped in a coocoon
of love. Always there. Always reassuring and comforting.
Love then was fulfilling, exciting, protective and a
thousand other feel good to be alive things.
Love now…means responsibility…commitment and all
those grown up things that go with loving someone.
Hmmmm, I think love was better when I was young it was
far less complicated and a lot more fun.
