Inspiration is a woman,
A choice maiden from the hearts of all mothers
At what point does one accept her embrace?
Too soon and she might just greet me,
A peck on the cheek
Too late and I might show my flaws,
For she bores easily
I may not know her style of dance,
But for such beauty,
A man will forfeit his kingdom just for a chance
And it is there where her weakness is exposed
Yet, she recovers her senses rather quickly
And if by chance, you have caught her fancy,
She will intoxicate you for the evening watch,
Though she will leave you with want of heart,
And that is not so bad,
For after all,
She is a marvelous flirt,
And flirts always return to the scene
And somehow,
Everything is fresh and new,
At least for the moment at hand
Such is inspiration
