Europe, do we stay in or do we exit?
It is becoming a Shakespearian farce
The public don’t understand the merit
Of in or out, the information is too sparse.
To be in or not to be in, that is the question
As all sides drive their arguments home,
Our politicians have verbal indigestion
They’re like two bald men fighting over a comb.
We will all be left to make a decision
And be made to cast an important vote
And it will be up to our own intuition
Yet someone will be made a scapegoat.
Yes, it has become a Comedy of Errors you know
As it is all Much Ado About Nothing; a farce
And will end not As You Like It, but a tale of woe
Not a Midsummer Night’s Dream, but impasse.
But when China becomes a new EU member
And Australia, Brazil and India too
The UK will still be a lone arguing dissenter
Whether in or out, moaning is all we can do.
