Wealth is never enough
Wealthy can buy possessions
But can never buy love
Wealth love is love’s delusion
Eat the best-there-is food
Travel choice holidays abroad
Stay in places give “feeling-good”
Or getaway to an island resort
Shop at exclusive boutiques
Adorn some pearly necklaces
Dine at restaurants for romantics
Visit some museums and palaces
After having seen, said and done
Still raking within some emptiness
Chasing something, in a short run
Yet, heart’s parched, soul’s in desert-dryness
In quiet desperation, soul searches to rest
Found not in wealth, power or fame
If found in life’s simplicity, count as blessed
If true love finds you, happiness is your claim
Where’s true love, there’s God
Offered at the altar, becomes sacred
Shared intimately, heaven’s abode
Love’s meaningful, love’s ultimate
