It was in the crowds of early April garden’s
That special thawed out selection
That survived December’s snow
And it’s oft’ condemned predilection;
It was in these spheres of newness
In the blossoming of monumental days
That Springs ever-sensitive buds arrived
Preparing the deluge of Daffodils for May;
It was in the grey skies that sprinkled
And in the rain’s ever nurturing flow
That soon embraced the sunlight and it’s beams
And it’s ever eflugent glow;
Yes, it was in the crowds of early April garden’s
That certain thawed out selection
That, indeed, prepared the way
For God’s keen and care-filled inspection;
