Let’s enjoy the good and meaningful Valentine poems for wife and husband below. There will not be any romantic Valentine’s Day after marriage, will not there? Do not confuse it, having a partner next to you can be the last meaningful present of life. It is not time to say romantic words, but this is the day that you really need to say thank you. In fact, pay attention that Valentine’s Day is the more meaningful day to your wife than to you, when was the last time that you looked at her eyes and shared the profound emotions? Be careful with the time!
– 8 Valentine’s Day Poems from Husbands to Wife
1, My Wife © Rolly Reinhart
Unexpectedly she entered my life
This woman, this angel, who became my wife
She captured my heart and soul
Warming a place once so dark and cold
This woman, this angel, to love and embrace
With a gentle touch to caress her face
Her words of love, so honest and true
She whispers to me when the day is new
She provides a home filled with love
A home blessed by GOD above
This woman, this angel, GOD would bless
A baby to hold and gently caress
For eternity we shall adore and love
Our baby from heaven above
This woman, this angel, wife and mother
I know there can be no other
This woman, this angel, and mother; she is my life
This woman, this angel, and mother; she is My Wife.
2, I Love You © Harry Boslem
I can’t talk to you without feeling honor,
I can’t see you without feeling wonder,
I can’t touch you without feeling pure,
I can’t feel you without wanting more,
I can’t hold you without feeling safe,
I can’t kiss you without feeling great,
I can’t miss you without feeling pain,
I can’t meet you without wanting to again,
I can’t watch you without feeling awe,
I can’t love you without feeling loved,
I can’t lay with you without feeling passion,
I can’t stay away without feeling rationed,
I can’t dream of you without sleeping soundly,
I can’t cope without you around me,
I can’t sleep without you in the bed,
I can’t be alive without feeling your breath,
I can’t think without you on my mind,
I can’t leave without feeling unkind,
But most of all,
I can’t exist without you in my life.
3, Please Be My Valentine © Robert B. Anderson
Please be my Valentine,
Not only on this day.
But every day throughout the year,
You’re my best friend in every way.
You are my box of Chocolates,
In each piece a sweet surprise.
You shower me with diamonds,
With the sparkles in your eyes.
You are my Valentine candy,
With the loving words you say.
You’re like my dozen roses,
You are my heart’s bouquet.
You touch me with a tenderness,
That gently warms my heart.
You truly are my lifeblood,
I pray we’ll never part.
You’ve given my life meaning,
Like none other throughout my life.
You always bring me comfort,
When my heart is filled with strife.
You are my ray of sunshine,
You’re truly my best friend.
Our souls are joined together,
In a closeness that’ll never end.
You’ll always been my sweetheart,
Beyond the end of time.
You give me so much happiness,
Please be my Valentine.
4, Valentine’s Day © Joe Finger
To the love of my life
My beautiful sweet wife
Our lives will always be demanding
So let’s come to an understanding
Our love for God comes first
So our marriage won’t be cursed
We believe in this
To live a life of bliss
Our love for one another comes second
For better or worse I reckon
For richer or for poorer
Our love has never been surer
Our love for our kids comes third
So their future isn’t blurred
We will teach them love
So they don’t push and shove
Happy Valentine’s Day
Is what I want to say
And to tell you my wife
That you are the love of my life
5, Happy Valentine’s Day To That Girl © Tim La Rose
Happy Valentine’s Day
To that Girl who has won my Heart,
Happy Valentine’s Day
To that Girl with whom I’ll never part.
Happy Valentine’s Day
To that Girl with that beautiful smile,
Happy Valentine’s Day
To that Girl who’s like a Lily of the Nile.
Happy Valentine’s Day
To that Girl who’s as soft as a Dove,
Happy Valentine’s Day
To you Lisa – My one True Love!
6, Our Dreams © Richard M. Deets
Let’s ride into the sunset on a rainbow,
We won’t come back until tomorrow
In the grandeur of the misty sunrise,
With stars that fill the skies in our eyes.
We’ll paint the sunset with colors of dreams,
Dreams we create with desirous schemes.
I’ll use shooting stars to write, I love you
On stellar blackboard, this night anew.
We’ll fly past galaxies on gossamer wings.
I’ll tell our favorite stars of special things
You’ve done since you touched my heart,
From you I can never live apart.
You’re the face in the misty light of the moon,
The laugh that floats on cosmic breeze in June.
You’re the magic spark of nature’s fiery cone,
The ember of joy I call my own.
Venus and Cupid sigh when I tell you,
I feel so very lucky to be loving you,
The one I run to when each day is through.
I simply can’t take my eyes off you.
The morning light may steal this moment bright
And take away the stars of the night,
We’ll have the memories, by love’s brush drawn,
That color our dreams and light the dawn.
Look into my eyes and see the sparkling stars,
Those thousand dreams that become ours,
Listen to cascading stars chime in whispers,
I’m yours until the end of time and vespers.
7, The Macaroni Heart © Evan Brown
One night you said to me,
“Remember when we were kids
we’d stick macaroni on paper for Valentine’s Day.”
Link after link
a chain of deep red and bright white construction paper,
corner to corner, decorating a room,
spotted with small chairs and cubby holes
smelling of chalk and exuberance.
Folded, cut, then unfolded hearts
speckled with glitter, noodles and paint,
pasted to windows or given to classmates,
in the time allotted for exchanging,
their names now more distant than remote can define.
Catalogue men and women
in department store suits and dresses
pasted into Bristol-board cards
representing moms and dads
or girls and boys you hoped would like you.
Fat pencil crayons, big for awkward hands,
writing that could never manage to follow a straight line.
Ridiculous giant loops, crooked risers, and incongruous proportion.
Unusual colors trying to keep within heart-shaped lines.
It was so common, accepted, and familiar.
The simplest of things
with the purest of intention,
created under circumstance of then unfathomable honesty.
We made for the sake of love,
and we never thought twice about it.
On this day, I remember
that you asked me to remember
times that seemed trivial.
for those open to its appraisal, offers clarity.
And I remember the lesson of my macaroni heart.
I made this for you.
with a macaroni heart.
It’s not a real one of course,
But these are virtual times, my dear,
so these virtual macaronis
make a virtual heart,
which expresses a real heart,
that loves you,
8, Walk In My Shoes © Steven P. Dawson
If you walked in my shoes for a day,
You’d know how I love you in such a way.
You’d share the aching of my heart
for every moment we spend apart.
You’d feel electricity when I touch your skin
and the warmth I receive from seeing you grin.
You’d see me tumble into your eyes,
how they brighten up the greyest skies.
You’d smell the sweetness of your aura,
radiating like fresh picked flora.
You’d hear how saying three simple words
is like hearing the sweetest song of birds.
If you walked in my shoes for the rest of your life,
you’d know that I’m thankful that you’re my wife.
– 8 Valentine Poems from Wives to Husband
1, Words Are Not Enough © Denese H. Boyett
No words could ever tell you,
No action could express
The way I feel about you.
With you, my life is blessed.
You’re the light in my tunnel.
You are my pot of gold.
You are the strength that gets me through
When despair has taken hold.
You’re my once in a lifetime.
You make my life complete.
You are my blue ribbon
In the shadow of defeat.
There’s nothing I could ever say
And nothing I could do
To let you know just how much
Love is in my heart for you.
2, My Love, My Valentine © Amy Collins
Becoming your wife, a year ago today;
who could have dreamed it would be this way.
Taking the vow, from this day forward…not knowing
loving you forever would be such a reward.
We stood and looked into each other’s eyes;
Spoke our true vows as husband and wife.
In sickness and in health, till death do we part,
soon came that test from the very start.
Though we’ve gone through a lot in our first year,
Our love has grown stronger through every dropped tear.
No words can express how very much you mean to me;
Beyond a shadow of doubt; I know our souls were meant to be!
You are my knight in shining armor, my prince of peace through it all,
I can’t imagine my life without you, my loving baby doll!
You’ve picked me up and made me strong,
forgiven me when all went wrong….
The storms of life have taken us down,
but our love just gets stronger with each other around.
As music you make whispers through my soul,
Your loving arms around me keep me whole!
Moving forward from this day through,
These five words I swear to you;
I’ll be there for you!!
Even if the sun refuses to shine,
you will still have my heart until the end of time,
YOU ARE ALL I NEED, MY LOVE, MY VALENTINE!!
We’ll get through this one day, one step, one breathe at a time;
With many more anniversaries to share husband of mine!!
3, Heart To Heart © Jessica L. Johnston
What does Valentine’s Day mean?
Febuary 14th is a day everyone has seen.
But between two loving hearts,
it’s more, many movable parts.
My coffee in the early morning,
the smile on my face when I look at my ring.
A kiss just because I feel the need,
your passion so filled with thought and greed.
The phone call just because you can,
and your help just to show you’re my man.
But to me it’s my partner and my mate,
who dropped in my life a gift or FATE?
My life is yours, my heart I give
until we die and while we LIVE!
4, Her Blue Heart © Patricia L. Cisco
There used to be a certain look so very long ago,
when she could look into his eyes and know he loved her so!
Now time has gone, and with it took the young girl he once knew.
She’s mothered out and tired; her heart is hazed in blue!
It would be nice if once or twice that glance was thrown her way,
that his glance and smile told her he was pleased to stay!
It’s not a wild adventure that she’s been searching for;
it’s only knowing in his eyes no one could please him more!
There’s just one reason in this world a man keeps a beautiful wife.
That’s because he shows her she’s most precious in his life!
So if you truly love her, then make her wish come true.
Tell her on this Valentine’s Day she means the world to you!
5, Valentine © Ted L Glines
A wish for you
on this Valentine’s Day
that you’ll take time to laugh
and maybe to play,
just bury the blues
let go your worries
do something happy
and giggle in flurries,
run in the forest
hug a small child
grin at the clouds
and do something wild,
just for this day
be perfectly free
for that is the way
you were meant to be,
watch how your magic
blossoms in wonder
as lightning flashes
in evening thunder,
and know in your heart
come what may
I send you my blessings
this Valentine’s Day.
6, Miracle © Murray
“I miss you.”
“I wish you were here.”
“I can’t wait to see you again.”
“I love you.”
Words that have been spoken for eight years.
Cuddle in bed hearing your voice, maybe over the phone or another device.
The memory will never be forgotten but will never be repeated.
We have stood the test of time.
I can touch you, feel you.
Is this a reality?
It is indeed a dream; oh, I thought it has changed, but it’s still the same.
Or is it?
Am I really spending this day with the love of my life?
I am no longer dependent on the sweetness of your voice.
God still works miracles!
I can look in your eyes;
I can experience your glory;
I can bathe in your masculinity
“I love you, Happy Valentine’s Day.”
7, Our Romance © Susan L. Malone
‘Twas the night before Sunday
When all through the bar
Texans were dancing
Beneath the Lone Star
When what to my wandering eyes should appear
A handsome young Texan
Buying a beer
Our love story started
Right there, right then
Least not by pen
If I had your attention
For a lifetime or so
I could tell you about the man
I’ve come to know
He is the best husband
Now the best dad
I am living the life
I wish all could have
We stroll hand in hand
Thanking the Lord
For His Perfect Plan
8, My Everyday Valentine © Jac Judy A. Campbell
He’s not a scented flower
That fades from day to day,
Nor is he a dozen roses
In a beautiful glass bouquet.
He’s not a pound of candy
Or a meaningless silly card.
His words speak blissful feelings
Of his magic spark and charm.
He’s not made of pretty paper
That is torn and tossed away.
He’s tough and tender a man,
Of all men,
He’s my Valentine every day.
He doesn’t quite taste like chocolate.
He’s yummy and sweet as can be.
Nor is he a wine-and-dine-me guy.
Home cooking is more his speed.
He’s not a fuzzy stuffed animal
That lays about all day.
He’s round and soft, my own teddy bear
He’s cuddly in every way.
He didn’t come wrapped in tissue,
Nor colorful glittery gifts.
He’s wrapped in the thrills and passion,
In the arms of the life he lives.
He’s not much on jewels and diamonds,
As he says for him I’ll always shine.
He’s always my straight-shooting Cupid.
He’s my everyday Valentine.
