The White Dawn has hardly finished
Adorning herself with brilliant gold and rose
When my spirit which had totally perished
In the confused depths of many a cause
Came back to me as the drawn curtains now expose
Me, making me more invincible against death.
But you who have, and you alone, the power of faith
To bring such happiness to lighten up my destiny
You will be my myrrh, the purifying breath
Against the worms of my mortality.
