Every agitated muscle is like a python
Wrapped around your bones.
Strangling them to the point of exhaustion,
For fear of busting through your skin.
Exposing their raw, vulnerable failings,
Where pain and truths cower.
Occupying the meat of an uneasy life,
Suffocating the skeleton to its marrow.
Crushing your mortal existence to dust.
And you wouldn’t have it any other way.
