Here’s to the dulcet days of wonderful Spring
So comely and pleasing to ones eyes- –
Filled to the full with ebullience
with it’s efflorescence against a cobalt sky;
Here’s to the halcyon days of new birth
Inbued with fragrances most divine- –
Or the apple blossom’s dainty lilt…
Arriving from the gentle breeze of Springtime;
Oh, such opulent flora in it’s beginning…
A seemingly unending plethora for us to view
With but a minimal vestige of umbrella’s
Necessary for protection from the shower’s oft’ due;
Sheer beauty from the city to the bucolic vales
Evocative to much happier, loving Spring days- –
As the songbirds sing their mellifluous Psalms…
Why it’s: Springtide, announcing her quintessential ways;
