She says, ‘Touch me in the dark of night.’
He says, ‘Let me see you in the light of day.’
They have a good relationship,
So each one gets their way.
She craves romance by moonlight,
He thinks the morning is just right.
A glass of wine before bed,
Over coffee, ‘Good Morning’s’ are said.
With sleepy smiles, they greet the day,
And tangle the bedclothes in play.
At evening, when the day is done,
They’re resting with their only one.
