I asked what was that would
make me happy right now,
The answer was, absolutely nothing;
And as the greedy thought crossed my mind,
A myriad of feelings, memories, experiences,
Jumped out of my soul,
Screaming, what about us?
One of them being a scent of a rose,
Another, touching the tiny hands of a child,
Innumerable were them;
Then, I understood how lucky I was,
How lucky I had been,
Despite the unfair suffering that always follows,
I should grace with love the other myriad of things,
Happening every day, and that I feel to the core.
