A SONG IN THE BREEZE
“I pray my God to keep me true
In you! I’m now content
Trying so hard better to do
The work for which I’m meant
The glory Lord, is Yours alone
Let no one be dismayed
The credit Lord is not my own
But Yours by whom I’m made
With death each day I’d take a stroll
Thinking that life’s a spree
While Satan held my precious soul
Until You set me free
A worthless rogue; to You I came
With sin so burdened down
You cleansed that wretch of wanton shame
To give a golden crown
I sought my God on bended knees
An urchin in Your sight
You handed me life’s precious keys
Your ring and robe of white
I’ve seen the dark; I’ve seen The Light
I’ve drank Salvation’s Wine
The devil’s had to take his flight
Since Heaven’s Truth is mine
New heights! I seek, to climb above
High hills, beyond the trees
To sing to You my song of love
Accompanied by The Breeze
I love! You Lord, truly You know
This much I understand
No matter where You say to go
I’ll never leave Your hand”……
