Housed in the framework of poetic law
There dwells a thought. So small a home, yet by
Its very discipline we can ensure
That nothing wasteful is allowed to lie
Within. Each phrase is weighed and polished ’til
It shines, and, as the thought is likened to
A point, so must each chosen word distil
Its essence wholly to this single view.
A small and shining house that offers rest;
A sanctuary wherein the mind finds space;
A place of light that greets each welcome guest
With care and nourishment that spring from grace.
A thought has boundaries whilst running free,
Yet, under law, knows perfect liberty.
