Alone in a darkened room with two companions heartache and gloom
They have no other place to go, this is the only life they know
They took me in when I fell from my peak from a broken
Heart and very weak.
They said: don’t worry you’ll be here for a short spell
Everyone goes through this kind of hell “
You don’t find love and happiness at the first turn
You have to search after you’re burned!
Then when you’re on needles and pins and you see your ship come in
When it carries the love that you’ve been waiting for and the feelings of so much more.
Awakening all your senses of how it will be now that you set your heart free
Seeing when they come into view and smelling their aroma too.
When that person touches you and you get chills up and down your spine
And their voice gives you peace of mind.
Then you get that soft kiss with the taste of desire and sets your mind and soul on fire.
That is when you’ll reinvent love to the way it should be
Two hearts beating in perfect harmony.
