It is obvious her elegant legs,
(which mirror their slender stems)
is the paradigm for every flower:
Heaven’s and earth’s most sacred gems.
As a work of art, her beauty never fades;
With the rainbow’s colors her compares.
Of her design her creator is very proud;
In the flowers’, her secrets he shares.
Her sweetness gave the rose sweet scents:
Warm and soothing aromas that attract love.
She’s the best that mankind could receive.
God saw her heart and its tithings approved.
She is delicate and delicately must be held.
Her essence is in the pureness of her belief.
Her emotions manifest in the colors of spring.
Her versatility is found in every leaf
That carries the burden of bringing life.
Her seeds, her children, she nurtures
with tenderness only a mother could give.
The woman, though silent, always allures
the man, who does as bees do over flowers.
Hoping she’ll satiate him he buzzes madly
And at the slightest sign of mutual affection,
He is overtaken by a fit of blushes.
The two are equal – both are given and loved.
Does it matter which came first, woman or flower?
From skin to core, they are of one fruit,
And both I chose: the woman and the flower.
