As the moon shines
in the lugubrious sky
and the night is enthroned
I breathe the sweet nocturnal air
Ηearing the music of the busy city,
the sounds of the bustling streets
I feel sandess no more for the day that passed
but I long for the new one that is coming

Καθώς φέγγει η σελήνη
στον πένθιμο ουρανό
και η νύχτα ενθρονίζεται
Αναπνέω τον γλυκό νυχτερινό αέρα
Ακούγοντας τη μουσική της πολυάσχολης πόλης,
τους ήχους των πολύβουων δρόμων,
δεν αισθάνομαι πια λύπη για τη μέρα που πέρασε
μαμε προσμονή αναμένω τη νέα που έρχεται
